Feel the Festive Mood of this Tropical Filipiniana Wedding!

If you want to make your timeless Filipiniana wedding more relaxed, chill, and fun, take a page from RK and Mica’s book! They wanted a mix of culture and comfort, so they decided to integrate a tropical twist to the classic theme. The yellows and oranges in their wedding palette perfectly complemented the fun and chill personality of the bride and groom. Their grazing table was a burst of color and flavor, a blend of Pinoy favorites and modern delicacies. No doubt their guests enjoyed the spread of chicharon, empanaditas, fresh fruits, and caviar. They also made sure to include dancing to OPM beats for their balikbayan guests to enjoy. Since this festive wedding is held in Baguio, all their guests went home with an inabel shawl to help keep them warm. Enjoy these photos from Owen and Nikki Photography!

This Bride Looks Radiant in Her Embellished Modern Terno Gown!

We’ve got you covered once again with bridal fashion inspiration. If you love modern interpretations of the terno as much as we do, have a look at Bride Carmee’s gown. The pattern of the embellishments, from the butterfly sleeves down to the skirt, is crafted beautifully, and the mermaid silhouette suits the bride so well! It’s lovely to see a gown that is not purely white either, especially for a modern filipiniana as this reminds us of the more traditional fabric. Over-all, isn’t Carmee simply stunning? Another stand out detail would be the pastel-colored bridesmaid dresses. We’ve seen many gorgeous neutrals for terno-inspired entourage dresses, but this pop of color adds a pretty contrast to the more subdued motif of the wedding. See more of Paolo and Carmee’s celebration as captured by FotoStory.

This Couple Shows Their Love for Filipino Culture!

Bride Tin writes, “Ang aming kasal ay inayon sa aming personalidad at kwento ng aming pag-iibigan. Malapit sa aming puso ang likha at pagkain nating Pinoy.” From the attire to the decorations, everything is a testament to how much Aries and Tin value our heritage. Most remarkable would be the groomsmen wearing the salakot, and the bridesmaids donning traditional textile and woven bags. I must say that the bride is a vision in her attire–a classic panuelo, brooch, payneta. It’s a look that not only exudes tradition but total elegance. See more of Aries and Tin’s love for our culture through their special day! Scroll through these photos by Likha Events.

This Wedding is a Warm Filipino Welcome for the Groom’s Family!

When Groom Shannon was finally able to set foot on the Philippine shores on February 2022 after being halted by the 2020 lockdown, he wasted no time. He proposed right away to the love of his life, and together, they started their planning in mid-March in time for their wedding four months later. As a wedding makeup artist herself, Bride Joan gathered her pool of trusted professional suppliers that made their planning hassle-free! She even did her own makeup on her wedding day, giving them one less thing to worry about. Since Shannon’s family and friends will travel to the Philippines for the first time, the couple thought it best to give them a warm welcome through a Filipiniana wedding! Everyone donned a traditional Filipiniana attire, and the venues were accentuated by rattan chandeliers, capiz windows, and clay pots! What a memorable way to introduce and experience the Philippine culture! Feel the warmth and joy of this wedding through these photos from Relentless Fire Photo Stories.
