I’ll be the first to admit that I’m a huge Swiftie. I have fond memories of me listening to her songs, and having my friends sing along, too. I played ‘Fifteen’ when I turned 15, cried over my first heartbreak over ‘White Horse’, dedicated ‘Mean’ to the mean girls in my block, danced around to ‘New Romantics’ on my college bus. And when I turned 22–you guessed it–I belted my heart out to her song,‘22’.

Taylor Swift has always felt like an older sister to me. In every chapter of my life, she has a song about it. And during one of my biggest ones, my wedding last December, her songs made my special moments all the more memorable.
