A Black, White, and Beige Wedding Set on a Gorgeous Hilltop

If you’re looking for some inspiration for a clean, achromatic, minimalist-themed wedding, then you’ll love this feature. Set in the barefoot chapel of Cagayan De Oro, Mikhael and Ayen requested their guests to wear plain neutral tones of gray, nude, and white, to be able to pull off the simple and crisp look they wanted. As an interior designer, the bride was very particular about the details of their wedding, including how the venue was styled and the entourage dresses. The couple originally wanted a simple outdoor tent wedding but they didn’t want to risk the chances of bad weather, so the bride designed the reception venue to look like an outdoor tent instead. She requested for white drapes, bulb lights, white garden chairs, and greeneries, and instructed her suppliers to veer away from using grand accessories, lighting, and centerpieces. Look at how gorgeous everything turned out to be from this set by ProudRad.

A Classic Romantic Wedding in Tagaytay with an Elegant Gray Color Scheme

Gray is a color that works well with any wedding theme. Be it hints at the reception decor, an accent for the wedding cake, or as the color of the bridesmaids’ dresses, this color is a fool-proof and classic one. Mix gray with any color, and it will look good every time! Sticking to just this color itself is perfectly fine too. Take for instance Abe and Frances’ all gray motif. What we like about it is how they matched a lighter gray for the bridesmaids’ dresses by Debbie Co, and a darker gray for the groomsmen’s suits, which instantly added a sense of monochromatic class to their wedding. Experiment and mix and match with different shades, and see which works best for you. Enjoy the photos of this wedding from Whosoever Studios‘ now!

This Artistic Bulacan Wedding was D.I.Y.-ed by the Bride and Her Family!

Jordan and Rachel’s big day was truly and literally a labor of love. Almost every detail was D.I.Y.-ed by the bride with the help of her family! The bride herself, who is an artist, made the invitations, bouquet, wedding signage, and also the picnic table, teepee, and macrame backdrop at the reception. She was lucky to have an already beautiful place though, The Greenery, which made styling the wedding easier. Her sister designed and sewed her wedding gown, and hand-made the groom and groomsmen’s unique bolo ties. One of the key things the bride wanted at her wedding was a s’mores bar, but knowing it would be pricey and that they could do it themselves, she asked help from another one of her artist relatives to set one up instead. Now if there’s one thing you can take away from this celebration, it’s that D.I.Y. weddings may not be easy, but they can be done, and seeing all your work and effort on the day will make your wedding much more fulfilling–also, it doesn’t hurt if you have a whole band of artist family members and friends to help you out! Thanks to Ian Olbes Photography for these photos!
