“I had no clear motif, theme, or direction in mind for my wedding. I just wanted a certain ambiance and feeling for the overall event, which was intimate and laidback,” says Bride Chesca. Jaako and Chesca

As for my bridesmaids, I rented dresses from Vestido Manila. That choice was based solely on the fact that I did not want to stress myself out thinking of my bridesmaids' outfits. The motif for the attire was garden cocktail as I wanted everyone to have an easy time picking out their attire, guests included. - Chesca, Bride

We knew our priorities and non-negotiables from the beginning, which made the planning process really easy. I would recommend this to any future couple: Know your priorities. Our main priorities were: Venue, music, and alcohol. - Chesca, Bride

We let go of the traditional program. We had no entrance into our reception and just quickly joined everyone else when they entered for dinner. We only had speeches over dinner then it went directly to the after-party. - Chesca, Bride

Jaako and I love music, and we knew that we wanted our DJs to play upbeat music already from the beginning instead of the typical string/formal music. It sets the tone for everyone to feel relaxed and not stiff throughout the wedding. - Chesca, Bride

Everything came together exactly how we wanted it. After the wedding, I had a friend call it a 'big inuman,' which I love since that's how much fun and relaxed everything turned out to be. It was a party to celebrate! - Chesca, Bride
