It’s amazing how a sudden redirection can bring you to a place where you should have been right from the start. This is how Ken and Ria felt when they had to look for a new reception venue just a few days before their wedding day. Instead of getting fazed with the change, they saw it as God’s hand leading them to a venue that had a beautiful story to tell. You see, Cafe Mary Grace was also where they got engaged!
In their getting to know stage, Ken and Ria bonded mostly over breakfast and coffee, reading books and having lengthy conversations. Through these conversations, they realized more of their passions–cooking and baking for Ken, and writing for Ria. So they made their passions as the theme of their wedding.
Ria prepared an “official publication” for their wedding, and Ken chose to hand all guests an apron as another giveaway. The Maid of Honor did the wedding bouquet with pages from an old book and coffee filters, a fitting tribute to the details in Ken and Ria’s love story.
Their intimate breakfast wedding was very relaxed and light with only their family and closest friends present. It was full of laughter, too! Go through the photos below by Oak St. Studios.
