Most of us try to find the perfect time for certain occasions so we feel everything will flow easily when that event or scenario comes. We have it all planned out in our minds, but that’s just the thing—for the most part, not everything is in our control. Tides, seasons, and circumstances may change, and the only thing we can do is grow with that change. That is exactly what Allan and Yna decided to do, embrace the change that all the uncertainty has brought life and make it something beautiful. Their charming wedding with 14 guests symbolized the simplicity of what love and a union should be.

The couple started their morning at Pasig City Hall for their civil wedding and continued on with their Christian wedding at home. They prepared a casual rustic-themed reception, complete with subtle bronze tones for an elegant backyard look. At the end of the day, what mattered the most to Allan and Yna was the union both of them shared through God. “I couldn’t ask and hope for more. This wedding day is perfect because we are with God and I am with you,” shares Yna, which is an important thing to remember when this pandemic holds you back from planning your wedding. This Couple Still Had Their Dream All-White Wedding Despite the Last Minute Changes!

Before the pandemic, Arby and Nikki had a clear vision for their big day: an all-white intimate wedding surrounded by lots of greenery. The couple planned and booked all their suppliers in advance, but when the pandemic hit, they were forced to make changes. The unexpected events did not stop Arby and Nikki from carrying out their dream wedding though! They were still able to get married on their original date in a beautiful bed and breakfast in Laguna.

What made this wedding story even more special was that the bride and groom used their wedding planning to grow stronger as a couple. They made all their big decisions together, helped each other stay optimistic, and bonded as they made the D.I.Y. details of their celebration. On the day of their ceremony, the weather was a mix of rain and shine, so they had to transfer their location indoors at the last minute. Even though things didn’t go exactly as planned, Arby and Nikki remained positive and grateful through it all. These images by NQ Modern Photography show that at the end of the day, this couple was still able to have the simple, intimate, and beautiful wedding that they always wanted!
