Rosa Clara Bridal Collection Exhibit

If you are a bride-to-be in search of “the dress”, or a sucker for gorgeous weddings gowns just like me, then this event is a must-see. We’ve featured the breathtaking designs of Rosa Clara and Aire Barcelona in our Fashion Friday and Real Weddings posts before remember? Well now’s your chance to see them up close and personal. Rosa Clara Philippines, in collaboration with Metro Weddings as their official media partner, and Bride and Breakfast as their official online partner, bring you an exquisite exhibit of to-die-for Rosa Clara and Aire Barcelona gowns on the weekend of July 19-21, 2o13 at The Gallery, Greenbelt 5. As ready-to-wear (RTW) bridal gowns are becoming more and more popular in the Philippine wedding scene, this is going to be a fun way to relax and see what the buzz is all about. I myself am definitely dying to catch a glimpse of all those pretties.

Here are some insider tips:

  1. You can actually get free copies of Metro Weddings magazine if you book for appointments at the exhibit information desk on that weekend.
  2. Bride and Breakfast will be giving out a special discount coupon for the gowns. This is a way to give back to our oh-so-stylish reader brides–and we all know we love discounts! Stay tuned next week as we talk more about the coupon.

There you have it ladies! We’re totally excited for this. Hope to see you there!

For more information and updates you can visit the Rosa Clara Philippines Facebook Page or follow them on Instagram.

Video: Beneath Your Beautiful by Cinemaworks

I wanted to start the day with something really light and romantic. And I knew exactly what to write about. I’m a big fan of Cinemaworks–they always come up with the most tasteful clips and musical scoring that just makes me fall in love with the beauty of weddings even more. Every sweet moment captured feels so natural and real!

Nick and Rheanna’s SDE is a testament to a love that knows no borders. We confess, it left us teary-eyed and smitten.

Nymphs and Nests

And so the story begins. A man falls hopelessly in love with a beautiful nymph in an enchanted forest… But wait a minute! What seems to be images from a dream is just making my imagination run wild. This editorial collaboration between Marlon Capuyan, Styling by Aira Franco, Fritz Mortel and {etc} Handmade goodness is the epitome of the term less is more. We are amazed at how only four elements made this shoot a true example of dreamy elegance: Great photography, that exquisitely-brilliant-and-to-die-for nest-inspired head wreath, the pretty and frothy blush dress, and amazing surroundings of trees and rivers. Oh now I wish we could see more of these types of ethereal shoots for real couples–it’s everything romantic that’s for sure. Remember folks, simple can be beautiful!

Of Art and Affection

First thing that came to my mind when I laid my eyes on this engagement shoot of Carlo and Irene was CABO, MEXICO. I couldn’t believe that this was just taken locally at the Pinto Art Museum. Of course, we have to give a high five to Oly of Metrophoto for the rich and vibrant photos he captured. I also loved how Irene styled their own outfits. Aside from the pretty clothes, I think the smallest details like accessories and pins were incredible!

Blissfully Bonkers

I’ve been mad as a hatter the whole day, being that I’ve been dying to show you this wedding captured by the brilliant Toto Villaruel. So here it goes! We just love the understated Alice in Wonderland elements in Jovz and Tet’s delightful celebration. We all know that A in W would typically mean crazy, flamboyant, and over-the-top. This affair, however, is all about the blissfully beautiful with a dab of bonkers. We loved the hints of stripes (table runners and bride’s crazy stockings), the bright bouquet, and all the other witty details found all through out the wedding. All that plus good photography = a pleasingly nutty big day.
