Fashion Friday: Jazel Sy Summer 2013

We are just over the moon when we get to feature local designers for Fashion Friday. And today’s pretty pick is Jazel Sy‘s Summer 2013 collection. Jazel is known for her feminine style and fabulous embellishments. If you’re a bride who wants to go for the romantic and dramatic look for your big day, then these designs might just tickle your fancy. My favorite is the fully-embellished lace ecru dress. I’m sure you’d agree that the simple and elegant silhouette is just breathtaking. Lovely dresses, lovely Friday.

Lotsa Lovin’ and Laughter

One of life’s greatest moments is falling in love. It celebrates life, it magnifies color, it brings out playfulness, it inspires creativity. Today’s engagement post from Rainbowfish Photography gives us another reason why we enjoy seeing people in love. Nik and Jessica went for a candid and light-hearted concept that is simply lovable. I think the balloons, chalk, pup, iPad, and even those flower eyewear were used brilliantly. A playful pair + perfect photography = two thumbs up and a cartwheel on the side.

Nature and Nostalgia

There’s probably nothing that will come close to the beauty of nature. The awe-inspiring backdrop of this sweet autumn-palette celebration is enough to make us wish we were there ourselves. As if mixing the elements of wind, water, and fire (we love all the vibrant orange we’re seeing!), Eugene and Em’s wedding is simple yet stunning. The cozy table setting and the fun decor are other detail highlights of this affair. Oh, and did we mention how hopelessly smitten we are with that dried lavender bouquet?! We’re pretty envious of Jeff and Lisa Photography who got to be there to take in the whole beauty of Batanes, but we’ll settle for the next best thing… great photos!

Honeys and Happiness

Do we have a lovely treat for today! We are simply doing cartwheels because of this so-sweet-like-honey affair brought to us by the rising photographer Rex Carrascoso of We Do It For Love. Paolo and Abby’s wedding is a jar full of delightful details and sassy style. Their engagement shoot? Just as pretty with just the perfect balance of youthful spunk, style, and quirkiness! That’s why we decided to mix them both up to allow us to have a double dose of amazing wedding eye candy. So here we go Monday, we’re totally ready for you!

Seaside Simplicity

Here’s the honest truth, I’ve been a big fan of Marlon Capuyan ever since I discovered some of his work as I was browsing through wedding websites. And from day one he has not failed to deliver. We can’t get enough of the bright-as-the-sun affairs that he shares with B&B. And yes, today we have a sweet treat again because Brad and Lois’ beach bash is everything easy and effortless. We need more than 10 fingers to enumerate why this wedding is totally up our alley. Then again, we know that our faithful readers are very capable of spotting a good thing when they see it. A gorgeous bride, a gorgeous cake, and pretty much a gorgeous everything. It’s a happy, happy Tuesday for you and me!
