A Vibrant Pink Wedding with Quirky Details

This wedding was planned with so much attention to detail. Byron and Imee did a great job in customizing interesting details that made their wedding day standout. The first thing that caught my attention was the groom’s outfit. The fabric that was used for Byron’s suit lining, as well as his pocket square, had caricature drawings of him and her bride printed on it! The use of the quirky line drawings also extended to their guests. Before anyone could find their seats, they had to look for their own caricature board first. Yup, the couple had all of their guests drawn beforehand! Scroll through the set of NQ Modern Photography below to see the other standout details of this wedding!

An Elegant Wedding Filled With Love And Modern Details

As a writer for Bride and Breakfast, I’ve had the pleasure of writing about many beautiful weddings over the past few months. Today, I get to share something a little more personal–my own wedding day!

Tam and I married on the 4th of October in a ceremony officiated by my yoga teacher and dear friend, with 150 of our family and friends in attendance. Despite rain in the early morning changing our plans for a garden wedding, everything unfolded perfectly (I feel like every wedding inevitably teaches a lesson in letting go!) and we wouldn’t change a thing.

Our photographers, MangoRED Studios, were an obvious and important choice for us. We knew we wanted to look back on our wedding day by reliving the moments (and movements) captured in still frames. They were a dream to work with, as were the other suppliers who played a role in making our wedding ours.

We Love the Bold Colors and Lush Details of This Tokyo Wedding

Miguel and Nicole’s wedding was characterized by bright and bold accent colors set against black and grey backgrounds. The couple married at the St. Mary’s Catherdral in Tokyo, where the dramatic high ceilings and grey walls set the tone. Photographer Pat Dy captured every detail of the day, which continued with a reception at the Andaz Hotel. Bright reds, oranges, and yellows ran through the floral styling and the bridesmaids’ gowns, with a pop of yellow making a surprise appearance in one of Nicole’s three bridal shoes for the day. However bright and loud the accent elements were, nothing could distract from the bride in her Patricia Santos Atelier gown and the groom’s JE & Co. brown suit. Bask in the drama of these photos and feel the love!

A Cute and Quirky Unplugged Wedding

How many weddings have you attended where you had your cellphone practically glued to your hands as you took photos of every single detail (plus your gorgeous newly-wed friends)? It’s difficult to stop ourselves from snapping photos of weddings that are so fresh and pleasing to the eyes–take Abby and Chris’ wedding here, for example. Pops of the happiest shades of blue paired with soothing beige elements stood out against the rustic backdrop of La Faite Home and Country Garden. The ceremony set up, framed by a sky blue doorway, made the perfect setting for the happy bride to walk towards her dashing groom. At the reception, aqua table runners echoed the invitation color motif and warm yellow lighting set the tone for the rest of the evening. It’s no wonder that the couple asked their guests to put away their cellphones for the meantime and enjoy being present instead. Luckily, we have these photos captured by Chin Lee Photo to look at in retrospect. Enjoy!

This Couple Played with Both Bold and Muted Tones for Their Wedding

Miguel and Katrina’s wedding proves that in choosing a color scheme, there really are no strict rules. With the right balance, bold and muted shades work perfectly together! It’s really all in the details. Bold hues of red and orange stands out in the overall look of the wedding, but the muted blues and dandelion shades from the bridesmaids dresses complemented it all so well. Even with the contrasting tones, everything still looked so classy!

Moving on to their reception, the venue had a more dark and moody feel, but this didn’t stop them from inserting some fun! Miguel and Katrina incorporated the classic TV series F.R.I.E.N.D.S into the details, making the reception even more personal and memorable. But above everything, the couple really made sure that the highlight of their wedding wasn’t just a certain color or a theme–it was about being surrounded by the things and the people that they love. See all the vibrant details of their wedding through the photos of ProudRad.
