Bride and Breakfast Garden Soirée 2013

It’s been a couple of months since we celebrated our first-ever Bride and Breakfast Garden Soirée. Many of you might be wondering what exactly it is. The garden soirée is a party we threw for wedding suppliers in the Philippines, sort of like a thank you and a meet-and-greet. For the last three and a half years, we’ve been blogging about many of these suppliers, some of whom we have never met, so the affair was the perfect time to do so. But because Bride and Breakfast is a sucker for style and details, we made sure that we came up with something enjoyable as well as pleasingly memorable.

Of course this would not be possible if it weren’t for the talented suppliers who made the Tropical Luxe theme come to life.

Before the event, we wrote about the gorgeous invites that we sent out. Collaborating with the most creative paper and design geniuses in the Philippines, this invite certainly set the mood. We cannot thank Printsonalities, The Fozzy Book, and Arlene Sy enough, because they set a pretty high bar for the newest wedding invitation trend–3D, personalized, artistic, and high-quality. Thanks to these awesome people, this invite received overwhelming compliments from our guests.

So for couples who want to give your guests a whole new experience, we totally recommend a 3D invite for your wedding.

Quaint Cuteness

If there’s something we can’t say no to, it’s a playfully quaint celebration. Richmond and Yeye’s wedding that Toto Villaruel sent our way is just that. With a few modern twists and a whole lot of pretty, this affair will surely tickle your love bones. It’s not everyday that we get to feature a bride with really short hair (I love it!) and a gown with gold geometric embellishments. Add that to the usually gorgeous Vatel Manila bouquets and the cutest buttounieres by {etc} Handmade Goodness and you’ve got yourself the perfect day.

The Cozy Countryside

When I dream of a nice getaway, it would probably look like this. Think serenity, think cozy… think utterly romantic. Graham and Ginger’s engagement shoot can make anyone dream of quiet afternoon walks and a cup of really good coffee. Enjoy these gorgeous photos by Pat Dy. Let’s just say it put us in a pretty lovely mood!

The Sweetest Sophistication

Pinch me please, because I think I’m still dreaming. This super gorgeous wedding from MangoRed is what great Mondays are all about. Ryan and Amanda’s beautiful bash is filled with sweet sophistication and delicate daintiness. To be honest, among all the prettiness you are about to see, we sort of admit that the bride’s gown the thing we took a good long look at. And today, we only have to look not once, nor twice, but three (yes, THREE!) times at the breathtaking gowns by Monique Lhuillier, Reem Acra, and Vera Wang–Amanda looked equally stunning in all of them.

Oh, and I’m pretty sure you’ve heard, right? Blush is the new black. Gotta love, love, love those dresses! Soft and surreal, we’ve decided that we’re welcoming this Monday with arms wide open!

The Inspire Benefit Backyard BBQ

We are so overwhelmed by the support we are getting for The Inspire Initiative events. And because of the generosity of a number of friends from the wedding industry, we are able to use our talents and resources to do our part in helping those affected by typhoon Yolanda.

The Inspire Initiative has partnered with Bride and Breakfast in hosting a chill and grill get together called The Inspire Benefit Backyard Barbecue. This is an evening where we can gather as a wedding industry together with our clients, friends, and family to show that we have not forgotten our brothers and sisters who are facing one of the most trying circumstances a human being can experience. Through this event, we will be able to help others because 100% of ticket sales will be donated to Gawad Kalinga’s rehabilitation program for areas badly hit by the storm.

If you are moved to help, we hope to see you at 7:00pm on November 26, 2013 (Tuesday) at the Mango Farm (click here for directions).

Tickets are sold at PhP 850 each. Please fill up this form for ticket purchases. For inquiries email theinspireinitiative@gmail.com.

The more people go, the more people we can help!

We’d like to extend our thanks to the following sponsors for this BBQ fundraiser: The Mango Farm, Purpledish Catering, K. by CunananJoy San Gabriel, SLOWMOOZoombox, and Vatel Manila.
