Sunshine Loveliness

What an amazing thing it is to have a sunshine-filled celebration. And thanks to We Do It For Love, we get to paint a big grin across our faces. Rob and Pam’s bright and endearing seaside wedding is one of steady charm and undeniable lightness. Then again, having some sand, waves, and two people in love is always a pretty good mix in our book!

The Rule of Romance

We’ve postponed last week’s posts since we wanted to focus on establishing The Inspire Initiative–a project geared to engage wedding suppliers and our readers to help the victims of typhoon Yolanda (or Haiyan). Today, we will resume our posts about all things weddings, but do stay tuned since we’ll be announcing a couple of more ways to help the Filipinos affected by the super typhoon.

On a lighter note, let’s hope that today’s beautiful wedding captured by Pat Dy can usher in some inspiration and a ray of hope that better days are coming. Joey and Yuki’s classic romantic affair is everything soft and sweet. With hints of pink hues, we hope this celebration brings warmth to you and a smile on your face.

Have a good Monday, everyone. And we hope you don’t get tired of helping!

The Inspire Couple’s Shoot Marathon by The Inspire Initiative

The Inspire Initiative is a project forged by members of the Philippine wedding industry as an effort to give its support to our countrymen who have been devastated by the super typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan). This endeavor consists of four different events whose aim is one: to gather contributions and donations for our brothers and sisters in the Visayas region.

A number of the most talented wedding suppliers have partnered with The Inspire Initiative to make The Inspire Couple’s Shoot Marathon possible. And now, we want to invite couples to participate and make this endeavour a success.

We always say we believe in true love, so what better way to live it out than to love our countrymen who are in dire need right now?

Before I go into the details, I want to make it clear that ALL proceeds for The Inspire Couple’s Shoot Marathon will go to relief and rehabilitation efforts done by UNICEF for typhoon Yolanda victims.

Now on to the details…

What is The Inspire Couple’s Marathon Shoot?

We have gathered some of the country’s most talented photographers, as well as the most creative decor stylists, hair and makeup artists, wardrobe stylists, and more. They will cater to 40 couples who will be able to go through 10 amazing set designs and be photographed, all in one day. This shoot is open to ALL couples (engaged, married, or even just dating).

Where and when will this be?

Mark your calendars for November 20, 2013 (Wednesday) at the Blue Leaf Events Pavilion, McKinley Hill, Taguig City. Time slots are available for two schedules–6:00am to 12:00pm (AM) and 10:00am to 4:00pm (PM).

How much will participating in the event cost?

The fee will be P8,500 per couple. This whole amount will go to our brothers and sisters who were devastated by typhoon Yolanda as all expenses for the shoot will be shouldered by the participating wedding suppliers.

How will the shoot marathon take place?

On the day itself, couples will go in for hair, makeup, and styling. Each photographer is assigned one set design. When the shoot proper starts, couples get to enjoy 15 minutes in each set design, then they move to the next as the buzzer goes off. How fun is that, right?!

What do I bring?

Be there on time with several outfits ranging from casual to formal. Don’t worry! Once you’ve reserved a slot, the styling team will give you full details on how to go about wardrobe.

How many couples can join?

We are only opening this to 40 precious slots. Since slots are limited, we suggest that you sign up as soon as you can!

So I want to join, what do I do?

  1. Register here: http://goo.gl/CbScQj
    • Once the maximum number of slots are reached per schedule (AM/PM), succeeding registrations will be placed on the wait list.
  2. If there is still an available slot for you, you will receive a slot confirmation email. This will contain payment details and other information.
    • Payment options are BPI or BDO deposit, and credit card via PayPal.
    • Once the maximum number of slots are reached, succeeding registrations will be placed on the wait list.
  3. Submit proof of payment (e.g. deposit slip, confirmation email) by November 14, 2013; 11:59pm to secure your slot.
    • All unpaid slots will be given to the next couple on the waitlist.

We can’t wait for this to happen. May you be inspired to help!

Preppy Rock Prettiness

When it comes to the unconventional, you can count on Quirky Creatives to deliver photos that will bring out the playful side of anyone. Kerwin and Gert’s preppy rock photo shoot is one e-sesh with a whole lot of character and a bucketful of attitude. With fun outfits styled by Alexandra Lapa and glamourous make-up by Rae Venturanza-Salazar, this funky couple played their roles pretty well. And personally, we just can’t get over how gorgeous the venue, El Hogar Filipino, is. Have a dose of rock n’ preppy lovin’ folks! We definitely did.
