Using his own camera, a tripod, and a phone app to trigger the shots, wedding photographer and soon-to-wed GJ Esguerra went around Kyushu Japan with his fiancée for their engagement shoot. The scenery was expectedly charming but what was unexpected was how natural the couple looked in their photos despite not having a photography crew with them. Hand-in-hand, they posed in front of different landmarks and well-framed photogenic spots, making amazing memories with every click. Check it out!

Mico and Janelle’s Tagaytay wedding happened just after the skies have cleared from the Taal Volcano eruption and right before the COVID-19 pandemic broke out, and it was indeed a beautiful day to say “I do”. From start to end, the celebration of love was filled with so much emotions and gratefulness. Eyes started to well up as bride, Janelle, walked down the aisle wearing a delicate mantilla veil that made her look so radiant! Details in dusty blue and blush also complemented the sweetness of the moment. Overwhelmed by all the love they received that day, the couple offered a song of worship to God as a form of thanksgiving and praise for the beautiful gift of marriage and of perfect timing. We love how Mikko and Kaisie’s beach wedding reflects their love for marine turtles and nature in general. You can see it in the invitations, menu cards, towering wedding cake, and the lovely turtle brooch pin attached to the groom’s boutonniere. The couple, together with their guests, also took the time to release some baby sea turtles back to the sea to make their wedding day even more memorable!

As the sun began to set, the wedding party transformed into a lively tropical and Mexican-inspired celebration complete with papel picados, sombreros, and tequila to cap off their spectacular and unforgettable wedding day! While everything is on pause due to the pandemic, Carlo of Luminara Photo had to make do with what he has: a camera and a mobile phone. So, he immediately asked his friends if they knew a couple who would be willing to do a video call concept shoot with him. Being an LDR couple themselves, Bryan and Pink said yes.

Bryan is based in Singapore while Pink is in the Philippines. Distance has always been a part of their love story and now that they are planning their wedding, the distance makes the experience even more challenging. What makes it bearable for both of them?
