Beach weddings never fail to give off a vibe of effortless beauty. Today’s wedding is definitely no exception. One of the most sought after fashion and bridal gown designers Vania Romoff, and now-husband, Philippine team ice hockey team captain, Steven Fuglister, recently got married in Boracay, and we have all the pretty photos from Toto Villaruel and Nicolai Melicor to share with you guys!
We are over the moon about the Filipino-inspired theme these two went for. And not only was the wedding breathtaking, the details of their welcome party were equally stunning as well–we love the hats and hanging plants and lanterns!
Vania shares:
“It was also very Filipino-inspired. The locally sourced coconut maracas from Iloilo, the printed runners, and even the food was also Filipino-inspired. The native plate chargers and the Capiz lamps hanging from the cocktails area at the Alon Garden were all local!
We had so much guests from around the country and I wanted to show them how beautiful everything local was!”
The reception had the most vibrant colors. It looked fresh, romantic, and perfectly matched the natural beauty of their venue, thanks to the styling of Teddy Manuel. It’s also worthy to note that the bride herself designed her own wedding gown and the gowns of most of the entourage (and guests)! How cool is that? Check out all the stylish details of their wedding below. Enjoy!
P.S. – We asked Vania some questions about making her own wedding dresses, and we loved her answers! Read them below!
