Relishing Rustic Charm

More rustic gorgeousness awaits us today thanks to the brilliant styling team of Something Splendid. Joel and Christine’s affair is all about laid back and beautiful details, something we truly love here at B&B. Kent Lazarraga of Orange Studio is definitely on our list of up-and-coming photographers that were keeping tabs on for this year. I am totally swooning over  the detail shots of this wedding because everything looked so charming with a hint of that D.I.Y. vibe!

Tips and Trends: Mi Sueño End of Season Sale

We’re adding the Tips and Trends portion here at B&B so we can talk about the latest style trends in weddings, tips on deals and thrills in the bridal scene, and basically act as a Wedding 101 section for our readers.

For today, we wanna announce that Mi Sueño Bridal Boutique is holding a sample sale of their gorgeous gowns. This is pretty big news for brides on a budget, but who still want that oh-so-pretty dream dress. Happy dress hunting ladies!

The Boho, the Beach and the Beautiful

No matter how many beach weddings I see, each one still manages to get out a gasp out of me. The boho chic vibe that Simon and Katie’s wedding is exuding is simply elegant, unassuming and yes, breathtaking. MangoRed of course sent this our way and we were delighted to see every bit of it. Our gorgeous bride Katie definitely rocked her Nicole Miller number and beautiful head piece by Johanna Johnson. I loved how everything was white (it never gets old) and that the groom chose a simple gray suit, a basic black tie and TOMS. Not only is it a testament to elegant romance but also to the fact that Boracay will probably always be on our top list of beach wedding spots.

Hurray! We’re on Lover.ly!

It’s official! Bride and Breakfast is now on Lover.ly! (Ok, let me do some quick cartwheels for a minute…) Some of you might be wondering what all the excitement is about right? Well, I could you give a number of amazing reasons why I’ve been wearing this big grin on my face, but first, let me tell you about Lover.ly.

Lover.ly is the newest (and loveliest) visual search engine and cloud scrapbook for wedding inspirations. They’ve consolidated quality content, search-ability, technology and inspiration in one place, hence making idea and vendor hunting more fun!

So what does this have to do with us? Well from now on, the photos you see in B&B will also be in the Lover.ly database. This means people all over the world will get to see all the gorgeous weddings and things we get to write about. Also, regular B&B followers as well as those new ones to the site can check our Lover.ly Bride and Breakfast page if you wanna scour through our photos. And I guess, I’ve been walking on cloud nine, knowing we’re the first Philippine blog who got into their pool of credible blog contributors. So yes, that makes my Wednesday pretty darn fabulous.

Hurray for lovelies!

This is what Lover.ly looks like! I predict this website is gonna be every bride’s guilty pleasure.

Type “Bride and Breakfast” in the search box to see all B&B photos in the Lover.ly site.

Click a photo from the database for a close-up look and to see more information. In this photo, a Veluz gown, shot by Pat Dy, and the official publisher Bride and Breakfast. (Yipppeee!)

Click on a color and all photos having that color motif will come out. Now that’s way beyond cool right?

Our featured weddings allow us to get the word out regarding talented wedding vendors. In this photo, a pillow creatively done by {etc} Handmade Goodness.

There you go folks, a glimpse of B&B in Lover.ly! Go ahead, have a Lover.ly day!

Field of Dreams

Remember how I mentioned another feature today? Well, it’s gonna be pretty simple but overflowing with the romantic factor! Wilson and Jhe’s Save-the-Date Video by Cinemaworks is short but oh-so-sweet. It’s proof that the most understated concepts can actually be the most heartfelt ones. This video definitely left me in a mushy mood… sigh!
