It’s nice to see how our Bride and Breakfast interns really do take weddings seriously. In fact, they probably live and breathe weddings as much as I do. For today’s post, it will be a little bit closer to home. Bianca, one of our interns, shares how she (almost single-handedly) pulled off a renewal of vows for her parents. Our parents probably never got as much styling for their weddings as the ones seen in this day and age. So why not make them experience how we do things nowadays? But, at the very heart of it all, it’s an amazing memory that symbolizes how weddings are not just about pretty details, but how true love lasts a lifetime.

Bianca shares:

A few months back, my younger siblings and I had the craziest idea of throwing my parents a surprise wedding for their 25th anniversary. But after a few plot twists and turns, we ended up having to tell our dad about our little project. He, being the ultimate hopeless romantic, immediately jumped on board. After a whole lot of secret meetings and scheming with family and friends, we pulled it off and were able to have my dad propose and remarry our mom in the same day! My personal favorite element of that whole affair was the personalised trinkets from Istorya Creations (you’ll soon see why)!

Nicolai Melicor also did her usual photo-taking magic and my parents haven’t stopped raving about her snaps till now! Ian Celis Productions perfectly recorded that crazy whirlwind day, so do watch the video at the end of this post!

P.S. – Brides-to-be, I can tell you now from firsthand experience that it definitely pays to have an amazing photographer and videographer duo! You need everything from your big day to be wonderfully immortalized. I know that’s what they exactly did for us.
