They fully embraced the Filipiniana theme, and the execution was tasteful. Everyone looked stunning in their Filipiniana attire, and the styling of the old church to the cocktails and reception was just effortlessly elegant.”
You can see the Filipiniana inspirations most prominently in the entourage attire. The ladies are wearing green dresses and tops with butterfly sleeves, while the gentlemen sport the traditional barong. Among the details, you’ll notice the traditional flare with a modern twist in the wedding cake design reminiscent of the pamaypay, and the capiz lanterns as ceiling installations, just to point out a few.
But more than the visually stunning decorations and chic fashion, Robi and Maiqui’s wedding is definitely a testament to how steadfast and pure their love for one another is. So many friends from the showbiz industry are even in attendance to witness the couple’s union. Local music icons such as Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, Ogie Alcasid, and Gary Valenciano are also among the stars to serenade the couple during the reception program.
