Fanciful Filipiniana

A new take on the old and a fresh approach to the traditional is not the easiest thing to do, yet I find myself swooning over Nicolo and Izza’s Filipiniana wedding. I also think it’s worth mentioning that the tux definitely complimented that gorgeous gown. Some pretty details here, a modern twist sprinkled there, and a whole lot of charm makes this affair timeless and tasteful. Now this feels like home.

Rustic and Refreshingly Romantic

Oh how I’ve missed writing about these pretty little affairs. And the best way to start our string of gorgeous celebrations is to kick off with a too-charming-for-words wedding. I can always rely on Pat Dy to deliver the most breathtakingly romantic photos a bride and groom could ask for.

TJ and Marga’s garden wedding had an elegant rustic vibe that was overflowing with romantic and understated details. I can’t stress enough how I am totally in love with her wedding gown (really a breath of fresh air I’d say!). Plus, those flower girl dresses’ lace applique accents and pleated skirts are just brilliant. Everything is pure prettiness!

I can safely say that this will probably be in my top ten favorite weddings of the year. Effortless beauty is gonna be our favorite words for the day folks! It’s good to be back!

The Nook: Before “I Do” Pre-Wedding Workshop

Lately, Matti (our son) has really taken most of my time. With me juggling being a mom, a full-time blogger, plus all the responsibilities of being a wife, I feel the hours are just not enough. And sometimes it’s really Ian who ends up taking the backseat. Being married for 2 years and 3 months now, I realized marriage can be one of the most beautiful, as well as one of the toughest things to experience. At B&B we have our daily dose of the pretties, and yet couples must be sure to remember that it doesn’t stop there. Happily ever afters need work and commitment, and a whole lot of patience and understanding.

There are a couple of things that I am very passionate about: God, Weddings and Family are some of them. I think its such an amazing thing that Imagine Nation Photography actually holds pre-wedding workshops that really deal with the practicalities of marriage. Plus, they even give free pre-nup shoots for early bird registrants! (FREE! my favorite word!) God’s design for marriage is awesome. And the topics to be discussed in the workshop will definitely help in enriching your relationship.

I’d say the Before “I Do” Pre-Wedding Workshop workshop is pretty worth it. We are talking about forever right?

A Day With White

I actually got to spend two weeks in one of my most favorite places in the world. In two days I head back home and I simply can’t wait to write again.

I love springtime in San Francisco (will be writing about my little vacation when I get back)! I loved being here and being inspired. And I am even more thrilled to write about something that all of you will love as well.

I visited David’s Bridal to take a closer look at the White Collection by Vera Wang. Since a lot of you have been so curious about it, I decided to take a field trip and take some photos–I even got to try out a gown! I particularly fell in love with the pink number, but I’d say there were a lot of pretty styles as well. Thanks Victoria and Soroneda of David’s Bridal for helping me out.

Will be home soon darlings!

Hugs and Love,
