The Rocker and the Rose

This may be the first time in Bride and Breakfast history that something like this will grace our pages. Allan and Joed’s wedding is the perfect balance of grunge and gorgeousness, of edge and elegance. Though most of you will probably take a minute to take in Allan’s spiked suit by Francis Libiran, remember that this look is not for the faint of heart. Meanwhile, Joed balances the scales with her timeless beauty, that oh-so sophisticated Pronovias gown from Mi Sueno Bridal Boutique. And just for an added twist, a creative origami bouquet by Vatel Manila. Speaking of being totally different, even the styling by Gideon Hermosa is not your everyday wedding decor, but it certainly is a true testament that the unconventional can really work. This affair is indeed one big style surprise. And we love it!

Cheers to this sweet and spiky celebration captured by J Lucas Reyes. Have a unique day ahead folks!

Romantic Rendezvous

Love is poetry. To love is to dream.

You better find a place to sit because today’s post might just give you jelly legs. Pao and Mitch’s pre-wedding video will make any hopeless romantic fall into a trance of romance (I practically held my breath as each scene unfolded)! Of course the drama, the beauty, and the mystery of this amazing video was captured and directed by none other than John De Guzman of Cinemaworks. Let’s just say we are 101% in love with this… and we’re pretty sure you will be too.

Come and rendezvous to a world of breathtaking enchantment.

Cherishing the Charming

Spell PRETTY. If there was one fanciful fête that I could swoon over today, it would be Emerson and Janeth’s wedding. With a splash of the Tuscan country charm of Splendido, the lovely spring blooms by Manuel Francisco, the dainty and divine invitations by Wink, and that gorgeous Pronovias gown from Mi Sueño Bridal Boutique that screams simple elegance, you know that we’re serious about talking beautiful! Let Marlon Capuyan‘s photos spell how pretty this affair really was, because letters simply won’t do.

Hint of Home

If there was a wedding that made all my wonderful childhood memories rush back to me, it’s this one! Jay and Lanie’s Filipino-inspired wedding shot by Nyaps Photography is just brilliant. The play of yellow and green hues for the classy and tasteful balloon-cut bridesmaid dresses evoked sweetness and charm. While the mini sari-sari store pop-up made me wish I could dive in to all those treats! And on top of all that, the pretty and playful table setting made this wedding a definite delight.

It’s a good day to be inspired!

Savoring the Sunset

There is nothing quite as romantic as seeing the majestic sunset in the embrace of your one true love. Karim and Mabeth’s engagement shoot is as simple as the idea of the sun retiring from the day, and just as beautiful as the poetry that it paints in the sky. The straightforward concept of these photos by Mark Cantalejo is a true testament that the best things in life are free. Savor it with us!
