Bring out your inner wine connoisseur by having a wine tasting party either at a bar or at home, if a friend or relative is willing to host. This is a guaranteed way to get everyone mingling! Plus, the topic of wine is already a great conversation starter. If there are particular labels you’ve been wanting to try, here’s your chance! Another idea is to request the guests to bring a bottle of their choice for everyone to enjoy. To complete the wine tasting experience, have a spread of cheeses or chocolates for pairing!

Pamper day, anyone? A spa day is also an activity you can hold either at home, at a nail salon, or an actual spa. Treat yourselves to some rest and relaxation by booking a massage service or a manicure and pedicure. You can have your wedding nails done all at the same time! How about adding lash extensions to the mix?

If it’s possible to book a private theater to host an exclusive screening, go for it! You could even turn this into a joint party with the groom if you’re up for a bigger event. A cozier and more intimate option is a movie night at home, with full servings of snacks, and wedding flicks like 27 Dresses, Bride Wars, or Mamma Mia!

A change of scenery is something we would all welcome with open arms. If all the would-be attendees have extra time and budget for a trip, consider glamping! Think resort-like services but with the serenity of nature surrounding you. It’s surely a rewarding way to celebrate being a soon-to-wed. There are a number of amazing glamping spots within the Philippines to check out, so go on and start planning!

This will take some preparation but the excitement from everyone participating will surely be worth it. Find a good location where you can strategically hide clues or treasures. These can be objects related to weddings or to the bride and groom! If it’s possible, you can get family members to participate and turn their houses into hiding spots! Divide the guests into teams and have them search for the items. The goal is to complete the treasures on the list in the shortest amount of time.

If one of your goals is to be able to cook a meal for your spouse-to-be, go ahead and book a cooking class. You can all learn how to prepare a specific dish together, and take turns tasting one another’s creations! If you can make a request with the instructor, try whipping up the groom’s favorite meal.

Another interactive activity would be a pottery class. Working with your hands can be so therapeutic. You can craft bowls, plates, or cups you can use at home! If you never tried pottery before, we think it’s also worthwhile to learn a new skill!

A tea party can be as fancy or as casual as you want it to be, but the best part about it is simply enjoying each other’s company over good food and drinks! What makes a tea party stand out would be the linens and tea sets you’ll use. And don’t forget about the menu — tea sandwiches, scones, jams, and cheeses are staples!

Which of these activities will you all enjoy the most? Tell us in the comments!
