Pat and Abby’s wedding was nothing short of a memorable affair. Set against a backdrop of twinkling fairy lights and cheerful laughter, the event perfectly captured the essence of the couple’s journey together–fun, unique, and heartwarmingly genuine.
Abby’s gown is a masterpiece that has a unique story in itself. She had her heart set on a particular ready-to-wear gown, but it was slightly beyond her budget. Unexpectedly, her ninang gifted Abby her own vintage piña wedding gown made by a designer who’d retired long ago. And much to their delight, the same designer graciously stepped forward to refurbish the cherished piece.
Once transformed, the dress beautifully combined Abby’s recent preferences with treasured memories. Crafted from Piña, Piña Calado, and Mikado fabrics, it featured a bejeweled nude waist sash that sparkled in the light. It was a seamless blend of ancestral tradition, contemporary elegance, and Abby’s own modern touch.
