Details to Love About Alex Gonzaga’s Bright and Sunny Bridal Shower!

Alex Gonzaga and now husband Mikee Morada announced over the weekend that they got married in November 2020! Now, we find ourselves backtracking the sequence of events that led to their intimate “I Do’s” to give you a sneak peek of all things nice starting from Alex’s bridal shower!

Hosted by her sister, Toni Gonzaga, and styled by Gideon Hermosa, the bridal shower reflected the personality of then soon-to-be bride: fun, playful, and full of life! With a variety of flowers and citrus fruits lined up on the tables, the celebration looked like a fun picnic feast.

Take note of the elements you love about this setup, brides, and incorporate them in your own bridal shower or even wedding day styling. We asked Gideon Hermosa a few questions about this citrus picnic look he created.

“Bearing in mind Alex’s fun, bubbly and playful personality, we achieved the zesty summer vibe by mainly using citrus colors like orange and lemon, and complemented the whole theme with lively and candy-colored flowers and lush greens.” -Gideon Hermosa, Event Stylist

“We also used textured dining plates and yellow checkered linen to highlight the entire tablescape.” -Gideon Hermosa, Event Stylist

As a tip to brides-to-be, Gideon’s advice is to just go for it and don’t be afraid to put together mismatched elements!

"Do not be afraid to experiment, to use mismatched and unconventional elements. Tropical lush theme is all about that colorful and fun vibe. As long as it screams the feeling, you’ll be fine.” -Gideon Hermosa, Event Stylist
