This Couple’s Wedding Date Was a Loving Tribute to the Bride’s Late Parents

It was such a huge relief for Ulysees and Fatima when the MECQ was lifted last August 18, because they were able to push through with their intimate wedding two days later. August 20 is a special date for Fatima as this happens to be her late parents’ wedding anniversary. That’s why this couple chose to celebrate their special day as a tribute to honor the memory of Fatima’s Mom and Dad. As she walked down the aisle, Fatima also carried her parents’ image with her around her bouquet. Truly, the beauty of this wedding is in the smaller, thoughtful details like the invitation with an illustration of the bride and groom, an abanico fan with their names, hand sanitizers in pouches as favors, and a minimalist cake with the phrase ‘just married’ written in icing. Every little element added up to make this wedding overflowing with love. Go on and check out these heartwarming photos by Mark Melano Films.
