An Elegant Wedding Featuring Bright and Warm Yellows

Arlon and Jenny’s wedding was a traditional Chinese affair, and while yellow might not strike most as the most obvious color to go with, the couple made it work by being particular with the shade. Both bright and warm at the same time, marigold yellow was this wedding’s obvious accent color, running through the entire wedding from invitation text to flowers and bridesmaids’ fashion. Photographer The Backyard Studios also did a great job at capturing the marigold accents not just in the clothing and flowers, but also in the background setting. Note how placing the yellow shade against black, white, and gold, made all the difference in keeping it classy. Our favorite small detail? The white orchids in bride Jenny’s bouquet aren’t just white–a sneaky pop of yellow peeps out from each flower’s center. How detailed can you get?
