We’ve been seeing a number of modern minimalist and trendy garden weddings lately, but this couple shows us that classic glamour will never go out of style. We especially loved the combination of dusty blue and white! A two-toned color palette is a great way to achieve a look that is both simple and sophisticated. With elements like the exquisite florals adorning the ceiling, the white candles on the tables, the bridesmaids’ dusty blue dresses, and the gorgeous 4-tiered wedding cake by Naked Patisserie, every detail was consistent and in-theme. The couple also chose to honour each other with quality rings from J’s Diamonds. What an elegant wedding! How did you come up with your color motif?
“We chose a shade of blue because that is our common favorite color. We really wanted our wedding to exude elegance and sophistication in our own little way. Certainly, one can never go wrong with a classic romance theme, filled with touches of white and blue.”
What was your vision for your wedding?
“We wanted our wedding to be elegant and classy.”
How would you describe your wedding day?
“It was extremely difficult to sleep the night before because of both the excitement (that finally we were getting married) and the nervousness (that arrangements might not go as planned). But fortunately for both us, the excitement and happiness of getting married took over, as our suppliers did an excellent job, our wedding coordinator was on top of things, and we both enjoyed every second of that day. Taking photos and videos became a breeze as we both love posing for the cameras. Seeing our friends and relatives exchange smiles and greetings was a wonderful sight. Being greeted by the people that we hold dear in our hearts was precious. Spending quality time with family as we prepare together was priceless. And of course, exchanging vows before God was an experience worth remembering for the rest of our lives.
Entering the church was breathtaking, as the feeling of finally getting close to the moment when we would tie the knot, so to speak, started to dawn upon us. As the doors slowly opened for the bridal march, I could not help but shed some tears. The feeling was inexplicable. Joy, love, and excitement all mixed in that moment. The ceremony went well from start to finish. The reception was a blast. Lots of congratulatory messages, dances, hugs and kisses, laughter, stories, and many more. We had so much fun that we barely ate. In the end, we can humbly say that things went our way and we did not have to worry much – thanks to our coordinator, the hotel staff, our families and friends, and to everyone else who helped us.”
