As cliché as it may sound, Rima Ostwani is the type of girl that can immediately light up a room when she walks in. Simple and stunning, Rima, has got us bewildered by her beauty and sweet charm. And with a few days before she weds Jay Najjar, the love of her life, we get a chance to capture her in different bride personas–in all of which her elegance and exquisite beauty never wavers.
Here’s a glimpse of Rima–the bride.
How would you describe your personal style? Any favorite designers, color palettes?
Simple but elegant. Feminine most of the time, although I do throw in some trendy pieces once in a while. I veer towards pastels a lot–I feel they’re nice, subtle and happy colors. For bridal gowns, it would have to be Elie Saab, Zuhair Murad, Monique Lhuillier, and Francis Libiran. After our shoot though, I’m definitely adding Mak Tumang and Vania Romoff!
As someone who seems to be succeeding and standing out in different activities you’ve done in life (debate, charity, hosting, modeling, retail), what are your personal mantras that have helped you in: fashion, pursuing passion, relationships, and life as a whole?
- Fashion – Stay true to your own personal style.
- Pursuing passion – Never let anything come in the way of making your dreams come true.
- Relationships – Value and treasure relationships always.
- Life as a whole – Keep a positive outlook and choose to be happy always.
A lot may know you for all the different things you’ve accomplished, people you’ve dated, brands you’ve worked with and for, but can you tell us–who is Rima?
I’d say a simple, easygoing person who is passionate about everything she does, constantly wears a smile, and loves to spread happiness wherever she goes.
