Say Yes to the Dress

A few months back, I went to Hong Kong and got to help a good friend choose a wedding dress! I felt I was in Candyland looking at all those to-die-for gowns (I think I even caught myself tearing up a bit). I didn’t admit it then, but I could have sworn I was even more excited than the bride and was close to asking the consultant if I too could slip into one of those gorgeous numbers. We went to Central Weddings located at Landmark, in Central, Hong Kong.

At one instance my friend asked for the shade of the belt she had chosen, the consultant said she’d have to check the files because she wasn’t sure. I on the other hand, exclaimed, “It’s called vanilla in gross grain material!” The consultant looked at me in confusion. I coyly answered “I’m kinda familiar with this collection… eeep!” That was one of the countless times I’ve convinced myself that I am exactly where I should be–here at Bride and Breakfast.

Watch out for this amazing wedding. It’s gonna be a beautiful dress and so much more.

  1. Oh my!! this dress looks so dreamy!! i love how soft the bottom part looks yet it still has that gorgeous volume!! šŸ™‚ can’t wait to see more!

  2. This dress is gorgeous! Do they allow rental to the Philippines? I’ve always wondered if I can do that instead.

    1. Hi Denise, it all depends on the designer. Vera gowns can range from 4500 – 8500 USD. Some designers in the Philippines can already charge that much. But there are pretty good ones already for a price lesser than that! Plus you will be charged for alteration fees on top of your pre-ordered gowns!

Check out Hong Kong, “Central Weddings” in Landmark, Central.

      Hope that helps!
