Aika Robredo and Jim Guzman’s wedding was the kind that felt warm and quietly emotional. The kind where loved ones aren’t just present, but part of every moment.
The couple tied the knot last December 29, 2025, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Montecito Chapel. And while the ceremony itself was intimate, it was Aika’s wedding gown that quietly carried one of the most meaningful stories of the day.
Designed by Jo Rubio, Aika’s gown was made using parts of her late father Jesse Robredo’s old barongs. Her sisters, Tricia and Jillian, wore gowns with pieces from their dad’s barongs too, which made the whole day feel like a shared family moment rather than just a bridal one. It was a simple, yet, heartfelt and intentional way of keeping him close on a milestone he would have loved to be part of.
