The idea for the DTI Wedding Fair came as part of the vision of Honorable Ma. Cristina A. Roque, Secretary of the Department of Trade and Industry together with Assistant Secretary Nylah Rizza Bautista, Head of the Competitiveness and Innovation Group. Recognizing the wedding industry as a thriving market, the DTI saw an opportunity to open a new avenue for local entrepreneurs to grow, connect with new customers, and expand their businesses in creative, and sustainable ways.
What could be better than weddings, really? A wedding is a celebration so close to our hearts and highly significant for Filipino families. So, as you plan your special day, why not collaborate with suppliers and incorporate products that are truly close to home?
DTI is gathering a variety of local businesses under one roof to showcase excellent services, craftsmanship, and talent. There is great value in supporting local brands. Not only do they make your wedding unique and beautiful, they also bring heartfelt meaning to your big day.
The fair will also feature booths from DTI’s B2B Marketplace, where interested MSMEs can sign up for free to be part of a digital platform that showcases their products to a wholesale market both locally and globally. Additionally, the Malikhaing Pinoy website will have its own booth for creatives to register and promote their services through an innovative e-commerce platform.

On June 27, enjoy an incredible fashion show that will feature culturally-inspired bridal fashion, Philippine fabrics and sustainable local textile. Artisans will present customized accessories, innovative giveaways, and sustainable décor, while designers introduce modular gowns and eco-conscious textiles.
Then, on June 28–29, take part in a series of inspiring talks about how to infuse creativity into your wedding and make it truly your own. Hear from experts in graphic design, music, textiles, and more, as they share ideas to help you craft a celebration that reflects your unique style.
