Fun and Creative Wedding Themes and Ideas We Hope to See More of in 2025!

Bold, Vibrant Colors and Florals
Head of Content Pia wants to see more vibrant and bold color play that deviates from the famous minimalist styling.  “Imagine—a mix of oranges, yellows, pinks, and greens, and finding the balance of fun, risk, and of course, elegance. It will be challenging, but when a couple pulls it off correctly, their wedding will be iconic! We featured a wedding held in Rome with this type of aesthetic and it’s beautiful,” says Pia.

"Know what type and color of flowers are available during the month of your wedding. Also, consult a stylist to put everything together for you." Pia, Head of Content

Eco-Conscious and Sustainable
Social Media Manager Camille wants to see more zero-waste weddings (or at least, low-waste) and a more mindful and intentional approach to planning your special day. “I’d love to see more brides consider renting or thrifting a wedding gown. You can also go for compostable decoration options like dried flowers, foliage, or paper decorations. Using natural plants and flowers is also an option which guests can take home,” says Camille.

"Go for digital invitations. If you really have to have them printed, think about who really must have physical invites (your VIPs, for example), and consider using recycled paper. Choose a venue that requires little to no styling, like a garden." - Camille, Social Media Manager

Storybook Fantasy
For those who love storybooks and fairytales like I do, I want to see couples go on a fantastical path with their weddings. I remember a wedding feature from a few years ago where there were real fruits hanging from the ceiling and tree installations all around the venue to simulate an enchanted forest. It would be so much fun to see a touch of magic, whimsy, and storybook charm for your special day! A real life happily ever after!

Micro Destination Wedding
Content Writer Kyla would love to see more micro destination weddings. “I think there’s something so charming and nice about celebrating in a special place with just the closest people to you. Plus, there’s no pressure to entertain a large crowd,” Kyla says.

"Choose a small, unique venue like a private villa, a cozy beachfront spot, or a hidden garden. Work with local vendors for an authentic touch and simplified planning. Plan a casual itinerary of shared activities like a local cooking class, wine tasting, or hiking excursion."  Kyla, Content Writer
