Fahd and Joy’s intimate wedding was a testament to defying traditions and making their wedding all about “them”. Only 12 individuals, including their beloved pet dog Sushi and immediate family members, attended the civil union.
Joy had plans to wear a bridal gown for their upcoming church wedding, but she opted for comfort and elegance during the civil ceremony. She chose a tailored-fit white suit, lovingly crafted in their hometown of Pagadian, paired with casual Converse sneakers that completed the casual but chic look she was going for.
On July 12, 2021, at nine in the morning, their civil union took place in the opulent Malaybalay City Hall, surrounded by vast grounds. Within an hour, the civil formalities were completed, and the couple and their loved ones embarked on a scenic 45-minute drive to their reception venue.
