This Couple Had a Wedding Ceremony by the River in Their Own Farm

Ram and Phoebe tied the knot in an enchanting river wedding, and their special day has significant details that we feel delighted to share! The lovely couple has actually been in the wedding industry for many years now, Ram is a photographer while Phoebe is a videographer. When it was finally their time to be in the bride and groom’s shoes, they were so keen about finding a venue that is different from all the weddings they already captured, preferably in nature.

“We thought having a beautiful river wedding would be perfect! It was something we’ve never seen before,” bride Phoebe said. Here’s the interesting thing: the couple actually has a farm land that they’ve developed just recently. “It made sense to have our wedding there because we’ve worked hard to build everything. Some features of the farm we literally sawed, nailed, planted by our hands.” she shared. “Having the wedding there was like marking a milestone of some sort – starting a new life together in our new home.”

Another highlight of their special day was that the couple opted to plant a tree instead of the traditional wedding that involves a veil, cord, and candle. They chose a Mangkono tree, the strongest tree in the Philippines, to symbolize their strength and growth through the years. This beautiful wedding has meaningful details that make it all the more special. Scroll through these photos by Colove Studios.
