This Wedding is a Warm Filipino Welcome for the Groom’s Family!

When Groom Shannon was finally able to set foot on the Philippine shores on February 2022 after being halted by the 2020 lockdown, he wasted no time. He proposed right away to the love of his life, and together, they started their planning in mid-March in time for their wedding four months later. As a wedding makeup artist herself, Bride Joan gathered her pool of trusted professional suppliers that made their planning hassle-free! She even did her own makeup on her wedding day, giving them one less thing to worry about. Since Shannon’s family and friends will travel to the Philippines for the first time, the couple thought it best to give them a warm welcome through a Filipiniana wedding! Everyone donned a traditional Filipiniana attire, and the venues were accentuated by rattan chandeliers, capiz windows, and clay pots! What a memorable way to introduce and experience the Philippine culture! Feel the warmth and joy of this wedding through these photos from Relentless Fire Photo Stories.
