Idzel Bonn and May Ann’s story is truly one for the books! The groom, Idzel Bonn, is an overseas Filipino worker. He was only given seven weeks approved vacation leave, and he already spent two of those weeks in quarantine. On top of pandemic restrictions, time wasn’t exactly on this couple’s side. Wedding planning became a flurry from applying for their marriage license up to the finest details. But beyond the fancy elements of a wedding, Idzel Bonn and May Ann’s number one priority was to seal their union and finally become husband and wife before the groom had to return abroad! On May 18, three days before their actual wedding day, they took a chance by visiting one more judge who could officiate their civil ceremony after a number of failed attempts. Upon hearing their story, the judge kindly accommodated them that very day! It was a good thing they brought their wedding rings! And at last, they were wed.
Three days later, Idzel Bonn and May Ann were able to sanctify their marriage in an intimate celebration with their relatives and closest friends. What a beautiful day it turned out to be! The rustic themed décor, the bride and groom in their gorgeous attire, and the bride tribe (who also doubled as the groom’s squad) made their special day even more memorable. Though they had to jump through hurdles to get to this point, their story proves that love will always be worth it! Congratulations, Idzel Bonn and May Ann!
