Gio and Abby were all set. They had detailed mood boards for all their suppliers. They prepared a fun playlist to get their family and friends in the mood. The bride, Abby, even made scented candles for all the guests as souvenirs! But two weeks before the wedding, new guidelines were in place and their plans had to change. They decided to do their preps in the groom’s home, where they managed to sneak in some lovely prenup shots, and skip their reception dinner for everyone’s safety. Instead, the couple sent over a Singaporean dinner spread for their family and sponsors to enjoy in their own homes.
Gio and Abby headed home after the ceremony, full of gratitude because they were finally wed. “We took the time to take photos in our condo, a place where we started and ended the day feeling absolutely and wonderfully normal, but also so profoundly different. Despite having to strip this day into just the essentials, we felt such overwhelming love and support from everyone that we couldn’t feel like anything was missing,” shares Abby. See how the happy couple pulled-off such a heartfelt and meaningful celebration through the photos by Atlas Studios.
