From Neighbors to Newlyweds: A Beautiful and Intimate Celebration at Home

It’s been said that sometimes, you search everywhere only to find exactly what you’re looking for waiting right in front of you. Today’s featured couple, Carlos and Monica, lived on the same street, but only crossed paths a few years ago. Their homes, as well as the street their houses shared, became a place where their most special memories were made—including the proposal and finally, the wedding. Only the couple’s immediate families were present on the big day, but they made sure to honor the whole family throughout the celebration. The save the date’s and stone place “cards” were made by the couple’s creative nephews and nieces, while the bride, Monica, made sure to include family and other personal touches in all the embroidered items she crafted herself. The intimate celebration was traditional and tasteful, with the couple and their loved ones dresses in classic Filipiniana pieces. The reception that followed was celebrated at home, which was decorated with fresh flowers from their gardens and vibrant details to complete the tablescape. May this beautiful set by Photography by Regina be a reminder of how there is truly no place like home.
