A year ago, Miko and Joice vowed to stay together forever. Joice walked down the aisle in a stunning wedding dress by Patricia Santos Atelier while clasping a loosely arranged pink bridal bouquet to complete her look. Miko, looking as handsome as ever, waited patiently at the altar, stunned with how beautiful his bride was! It was a moment both of them wanted to freeze—to make eternal if given the choice. The couple felt so much gratitude for their love, for finding each other, and for the future that seemed so bright.
But fate had a different plan, when Miko fell into a fatal accident just a few months after their wedding. Today was supposed to be their first year wedding anniversary. Though painful, Joice shared their story with us as a way of honoring the commitment to each other that she and Miko vowed to keep a year ago.
