See How These Brides Pulled Off Their Unique Wedding Gowns!

We all love a classic white wedding gown. It’s classic for a reason, right? But as much as we love the traditional and timeless bridal look, we cannot resist the more unconventional wedding fashion styles too. As I was going through the weddings on the site, I came upon these brides who went for the more daring route, and put a spin on their big day looks. See them all below, and don’t forget to comment which unique bridal attire you’d be bold enough to go for!

1. Feminine blush colored gowns

Pink is such a feminine, ladylike color. It’s a color that’s connotative of women. So why not incorporate it in your bridal gown like these beautiful brides did? What I love about what these ladies did with their dresses is how they incorporated soft, delicate elements, like tulle, lace, and floral applique, into their gown designs–making everything look all the more pretty!

2. Chic metallic colored gowns

Now if you’ve decided on wearing a colored wedding dress, but want something bolder than blush pink, you should take cues from these brides and consider the colors gold and grey! These deeper, richer colors suit heavier fabrics better, and I have to say that these brides did it right. Another tip: Don’t be afraid to accessorize and embellish your gown with pearls, lace, and applique to add feminine class and glamour.

3. Delicate hand-painted gowns

Aaah, what’s more elegant and ethereal than a hand-painted gown? Just like watercolor paintings, these gowns look so light, delicate, and beautiful. Although a little pricier because of the labor it entails, you can always opt to do-it-yourself. So for those who are gifted with art skills, how lucky are you? But for those who aren’t, that’s okay because it’s totally worth the splurge with these hand-painted wedding dresses.

Sophisticated and glam, these bridal pantsuits always get me thinking of strong, confident working women. Express your inner #girlboss with these statement wedding ensembles. And not only do they look oh-so-stylish, they’re a lot more comfortable too! You can accessorize with bold pieces, like how these brides wore bright orange heels and put on a caged Filipiniana-inspired fashion masterpiece!

If you want to show off your #PinayPride, then you should, without a doubt, go for these designs for your big day. I absolutely love how detailed and intricate these brides’ dresses look. 6. Trendy two-piece gowns

I don’t know about you, but I’ve always liked how the two-piece gown has a casual yet trendy pizzaz to it. I also like how you can do so much to make it look more your style! Since it has a more laidback feel to it compared to other designs, you also have more freedom to accessorize this bridal attire however you like–just like how this fashionista bride did with her big, dangling statement earrings and bold red lippie!

7. Fabulous convertible gowns

You are hitting two birds with one stone with this dress design. Convertible gowns allow you to have “two” outfits without spending double! Now who doesn’t love that, right? It’s also perfect for those brides who can’t quite decide on which two dress cuts to wear on their big day. Take a look at this gorgeous bride–she easily got to change from ball gown to a figure-hugging cut!

8. Bold accented gowns

There are many ways you can add a bold accent to your wedding gown. And these three brides totally nailed it. For the more daring brides, take a tip or two from the first and second brides by either adding a big, bold accent or splashing fun colors and patterns all over your dress! If you’re the bride who prefers to stick to the more classic looks, don’t you worry, you can still make a statement by putting on a long, flowing cape, just like how the third bride did.

9. Gowns made of unique material/fabric

Speaking of a more classic design, you certainly still can pull off a subtle unconventional look by choosing a unique cloth for your wedding dress! This glowing bride’s gown is made out of an embroidered pina fabric, and was inspired by Filipino botanical details. Aaah, so tasteful and elegant, yet with a uniquely different spin.
