A Passion Concoction

When Alvin of Mayad Studios contacted me regarding this amazing video, I was squealing with delight. I knew I could expect these guys to take me into an entirely new level of gorgeousness. And I guess they also know I am a fan of their international work.

I honestly dont know where to begin. I am simply head over heels with this concoction of pretty + romance + fairy tale (= a very happy me). Watch/read carefully and be inspired by the beauty of the vows, the wonderful ambience and the extravagantly passionate couple who has love written all over their faces. AMAZING!

Exquisitely Embellished Ever After

Today we start a marathon of mini features. So buckle up and enjoy hopping from one gorgeous wedding to another. These minis will highlight our ultimate faves in the wedding scene. I hope you like it.

Let’s start with this beauty. Perry and Joy’s wedding was everything exquisite. I am particularly loving the super intricately embellished top of Joy’s gown (yes, it’s a two-piece!). From the beginning Joy knew what she wanted and was determined to get it. If your fashion radar is updated on the current show stoppers, you would know Bea Valdes, a luxury accessories designer in the Philippines. Although Bea Valdes is not really known for bridal wear, Joy knew she wanted Bea to design her dress. Through careful and painstakingly meticulous work of sewing layers and layers of fine embellished fabric, this wonderful piece of art was created. But with these beautiful embellishments flown in from different parts of the world, who wouldn’t mind waiting?

I love the fabric and styles of Joy’s entourage. The ecru lace and tulle gave a sophisticated and classic look. Joy and her entourage collaborated on the designs, bought the fabric themselves and had her personal seamstress to the dresses. DIY rocks!

The Beach and the Beautiful

There’s nothing like spending a romantic day by the beach. What’s even better is having a great photographer fly all the way from the Philippines to capture those amazing moments. I’m loving the white outfits (very chic!!!) and the colorful backdrops. Happy Monday!

These chairs are the cutest!

Nutty and Nice

Today’s little number is pure wedding bliss. Talk about flat out gorgeous! We’re giving the bride two thumbs up for the incredible job she did infusing her special day with a little bit of laid back elegance, a sprinkle of wacky wonders and A LOT of style.

It’s very rare that I come across a chic affair paired with a goofy couple. But Siu and Natalie’s fun-loving personalities was the cherry on top of this yummy wedding style sundae. It’s as if you can almost feel the fun that was happening during the festivities. Favorite element for this wedding? The classy cake with a funky twist! I never thought I’d be able to use sophisticated and hilarious to describe the same thing. Feel the love!

    Feathers and Frou Frous

Don and Gemma’s wedding is all about colored goodness and funky feathers. But aside from the catchy palette there is another thing that I declared as a visual enjoyment in these photos. I love it when an element in a wedding surprises me. In this case, it was the flower girl dresses. Time and time I’ve said that in my opinion, one of the most crucial things you can add a twist to are the little girl’s outfits. To make a better description, think walking decor!
