A Beautiful Delay: This Couple Had an Unintended Nighttime Post-Nup Shoot

Have you ever felt so grateful because your wedding day didn’t turn out as planned?

Every bride and groom dreams of their wedding day to be exactly how they envisioned it. However, it rained on Reinald and Irene’s big day, pushing the ceremony until the sun was down. Their on-the-day timeline was moved, but their unintended nighttime post-nuptial photoshoot turned out to be one of the best parts of their day!

Both of them wanted a simple but unconventional wedding. Irene wore a beige tulle gown instead of the traditional white and carried a matching bouquet of dried flowers. They also didn’t have an entourage and opted for a humble list of 50 guests.

This was their idea of unconventional, and the skies beautifully supported them with the rain. This couple teaches us that welcoming the unexpected and being grateful for what you’re given have their own rewards! As for these photos captured by Mico Studios, Bride Irene had this to say: “Everything looked dreamy and enchanting, and it wouldn’t have been possible if everything went according to plan.”
