We’re Swooning Over This Bride’s Chic and Modern Butterfly Sleeves!

We always love seeing reimagined versions of the iconic terno, most especially the trademark butterfly sleeves. Here’s a style that immediately caught our eyes: Bride Armi wears structured cage-like butterfly sleeves as the top of her gown. It’s beautiful how the sleeves give her classic white gown a modern flare, while undoubtedly keeping the traditional shape we all know. Since Miguel and Armi are also based in Australia, they wanted to make sure that their wedding gave honor to their roots, so they flew back home to have a grand celebration with their loved ones. “We chose to have a Filipiniana wedding as we are always proud of our roots no matter where we are, and the barong together with the terno gown always looks classy,” says Armi.
