A Contemporary Filipiniana Wedding in a Historical Home in Cavite

The original venue of Lampros and Jocelyn was struck by the Taal eruption, so they had to change their location just three weeks before the big day. The twist of events turned out beautifully as the classic, primitive aura of the new setting elevated their modern Filipiniana-inspired wedding theme. Their family and friends from all over the world flew to the Philippines to celebrate their union, and it was the perfect occasion to showcase some iconic Filipino elements! From the groomsmen donning Barong Tagalog, to using traditional Capiz windows as the backdrop and Capiz lamps as centerpieces, the affair definitely showcased the Bride’s heritage. Rattan placemats and buko juice served straight from the coconuts were just some of the impressively eye-catching details! This wedding was a chic Filipiniana celebration with a contemporary spin you wouldn’t want to miss! Scroll down for photos taken by DreamCatchers Photocinema.
