It was late afternoon when Charles and Nikki landed in Auckland, New Zealand for an epic five-day engagement shoot. Everyone was so excited for this beautiful adventure that an early morning flight to Christchurch, a three-hour drive to Lake Tekapo, and occasional shooting stops along Highway 79 (while jet lagged!) seemed to be an easy feat. I mean, how can you not feel in love with a backdrop like this! And just when they thought that it couldn’t get any better, the cosmic gods started to brag with a beautiful display of the Milky Way against the dark winter sky.
