Last April 8, 2017, Crimson Resort and Spa in Mactan Cebu launched Beyond Meetings, a showcase of events venues for business events, weddings, and celebrations. The event was done through a resort walk-around to highlight five of the resort’s event venues, each with a different thematic concept. Come and take a look at how the areas of the venue were transformed to hold a variety of events!

The Grand Coral Ballroom

The Grand Coral Ballroom was the first area featured in the walkthrough and was Locavore-themed. I could totally imagine a wedding reception done here. It’s an indoor venue, but their tropical theme still worked because of the tropical carpet. Perfect for something festive and beachy, don’t you think?

The Villa Garden

The second stop was the villa garden. The space has great potential, providing the perfect backdrop for afternoon cocktails, themed dinners, organized luncheons, romantic dinners, proposals, and wedding ceremonies. The lush greenery around the place and beautiful brick structures add a super romantic touch.

Azure Beach Club

Azure Beach Club, the resort’s outlet by the beach, was the late afternoon cocktail venue. It is an idyllic setting for specialty dining that could suit a wedding’s pre-reception venue. Azure has an open layout, which makes it flexible for many concepts. Plus, it has the feel of the garden but with a beach view!

The Beachfront

The beachfront had a Boho setup during the event, allowing us to imagine what it would look like if there were decor all over the area. It can accommodate up to 600 guests and has been a witness to numerous thematic outdoor dining and cocktail celebrations. Its vast space opens a lot of possibilities for any event.

The Hall

The day’s finale was held at The Hall, where Kate Torralba performed. The resort’s biggest indoor venue had a Crimson Flair theme featuring a classic black and red palette, accentuated by fresh crimson rose blooms–a classic pairing for formal dinners, gala celebrations, and wedding receptions.
