Counterflow is a one-day parenting event specifically for young families with children 0-12 years old. It will feature keynote speakers and workshops with various specialised topics ranging from raising children with special needs to choosing education.

In today’s world, families are bombarded with thousands of messages a day. Parents are busier than ever, and the threats against our kids are greater than ever. So where do we turn for guidance? How will we know how to raise successful kids today? Counterflow is a one-day parenting event designed to address some of the key issues facing families today. And though one day is clearly not enough to give us all the answers we need, it should address some of the most important ones.

The event brings together some of the foremost champions of the family from the Philippines and even the USA, with Dr. Peter Tan-chi, Senior Pastor of CCF, one of the fastest growing Christian organizations in the Philippines; Francis Kong, international speaker and best-selling author; and Larry Fowler, Executive Director of Awana, a global children’s ministry, and author of widely read “Raising a Modern-Day Joseph”. On top of these keynote speakers is a host of workshops on specialised topics such as raising children with special needs, raising kids in blended families, and choosing the best education for our kids.

Participants are expected to leave the conference equipped, refreshed, encouraged, and ultimately changed as they apply their learnings in their respective families. As a bonus, since the event is only one day, a series of talks and workshops that can equip families even more will be featured after the conference!
