This Couple Held an Intimate Wedding in Their Very Own Garden

It’s just so fitting for Jeremiah and Moki to celebrate their wedding day in a place that is meaningful to both of them. “The garden was so special because it was designed and landscaped by Jeremiah and I. What makes it more special is that it is where Jeremiah got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. French country aesthetic and old world setting introduces this garden,” shares Moki. As a florist and stylist herself, with over ten years of experience, she knows people would automatically expect a thematic and intricate wedding venue setup. Moki, however, preferred to keep things natural, simple, and organic. Instead of adorning the aisle with lavish florals, it was far more precious for Jeremiah and Moki to be surrounded by 30 of their loved ones in their garden.

Jeremiah and Moki’s wedding is undoubtedly beautiful. Moki shares some more details about her wedding, including the meaning behind her bouquet. Keep reading to find out! See the love and creativity overflowing through these photos captured by The Daydreamer Studios.

Jeremiah and Moki

"I made my own bridal bouquet, using 5 focal blooms, Ecuadorian roses, representing Jeremiah and my 4 children, Marcus, Enzo, Jacob, and Manuel, and the rest were foraged from our garden that morning." Moki, Bride

"My thoughts while working on my bouquet was that, as long as I have my 5 boys in my life, everything will be just fine. Life will be beautiful." Moki, Bride

"When Jeremiah and I found out that his Mom is coming home to the Philippines, we immediately thought about getting married because we wanted the blessing of God, as husband and wife. For us, it’s one of the greatest gifts parents can give to their children - God’s blessing. It is also how we want to honor our Mothers." Moki, Bride

"The ceremony was beautiful because the garden Jeremiah and I had built made it extra special. There’s that mystique of the familiar. And thanks to our amazing coordinators for pushing the outdoor wedding despite the uncertainty of the weather that day." Moki, Bride

"After the simple ceremony, we had the festivities inside the house. The tablescape was comprised of bud vases with foraged flowers and foliage from the garden as well. The night was filled with good food, wonderful music and so much love!" Moki, Bride
