This Couple Trekked a Mountain for the Elopement of Their Dreams!

One afternoon on a mountaintop, amidst the fog, was the most beautiful setting for Mico and Ramcee’s elopement. With the blessing of their families, this couple chose to have a more intimate and private gathering because it’s simply the best way to express who they are and how they wished to celebrate their wedding. Mico and Ramcee thoughtfully created their own kind of dream wedding, and what made it even more meaningful was the love and effort of their friends and relatives. A handful of their close friends and cousins trekked Mt. Kalugong along with them to bring up decorations, appliances for the food, plates, and utensils. One of their vendors also made the uphill climb to carry two long tables and 20 chairs. Mico and Ramcee even styled the table scapes themselves! And an additional fun fact: they were the first to be wed on this mountain! In a Facebook post, the couple writes, “It was our day. Our way. And in the end, our relationship is about us. We skipped the glam and sticking to a tradition, and we felt really lucky to get married this way.”
