This Couple’s Wedding Proves That There Is Calm After the Storm

Chert and Weanne had everything set for their wedding in early 2021, down to the smallest details like handmade thank you cards. But like many other couples, they were forced to move their wedding to a later date due to the lockdowns. Though restrictions eventually eased, luck still didn’t seem to be on their side, because two days before their new wedding date, a super typhoon ravaged their destination, leaving uprooted trees, fallen power lines, and scattered debris in its wake. And so they had to delay their wedding once more.

Even though they’ve gone through two postponements that were beyond their control, this couple did not lose heart. Along with their loved ones, they were hopeful about celebrating their wedding. After all the obstacles, their special day finally came! The venue was cleaned-up in time. Their suppliers were complete and in full attendance. Majority of their guests were also able to make it and witness them become husband and wife! Just when your wedding seems like an impossible feat, love and perseverance help you make it through.
