This Couple Shows Love for Filipino Culture in Their Festive Wedding!

Malvin and Mhylin’s love for Filipino culture and tradition is a known fact among their relatives and friends. It was no surprise for their nearest and dearest that this couple chose to pay homage to our heritage for their special day. Mhylin is also a Filipino teacher, so the Filipiniana theme is truly more than fitting! For their wedding, this couple reminds us of how a traditional fiesta is celebrated within a community especially since their reception was held in the bride’s own residence. They had a spread of kakanin to share, they played well-loved childhood games like pabitin, and of course, they dressed the part in a modern terno and barong. Malvin and Mhylin’s wedding is indeed one of the most genuine and lively images of the Filipiniana theme! For more inspiration, scroll through these photos by Jason Espinosa Digital Arts.
