This Bride Designed Her Own Modern Filipiniana Mini Dress for Her Civil Wedding

The bride, Jillian, is a fashion designer based in Toronto, Canada who focuses mainly on modern Filipinianas. For her wedding, she designed herself a modern, mini-suit type of terno with a bow veil. She looks absolutely chic in it! You can tell that the dress was made by skilled hands, and it’s also incredible to find out that Jillian was only able to finish sewing her wedding attire the night before her civil wedding. As quarantine restrictions keep getting stricter in their area, and prohibitions on gatherings are extending towards their original wedding date, Stephen and Jillian made the decision to do a civil ceremony first, and thus the last minute plans and preparations. Nevertheless, they certainly do look so happy and in love during this special moment. See how adorable this couple is as you scroll through these photos by their close friend and photographer Joshua Del Rosario.
