In Design, minimalism typically means an uncluttered space with clean lines and monochromatic décor. For this minimalist wedding, Ryan and Lalaine applied similar concepts—they chose a clean black and white motif and added personality by incorporating modern accents and distributing colored elements. Their chosen theme organically complemented the Church’s interiors as well as the reception venue’s overall architecture. This goes to show that choosing a venue that matches your theme (or choosing a theme that matches your venue) can go a long way in achieving your desired look and feel. They were also consistent with the same aesthetic when it came to the smaller details. You can check out the tasteful invitation suite, reception welcome sign, and tablescapes—they are exactly what contemporary wedding mood boards are of.
